At Young Citizens Psychology, we provide comprehensive assessment and therapeutic services designed to enhance your child’s wellbeing and help your family reach its goals. That’s why we work holistically, partnering with you and the significant adults in your child’s life to create lasting, positive change.

Services and fees

  • One-on-one therapy sessions offer a safe and secure environment for your child/adolescent to explore their thoughts, feelings, concerns and strengths.

    Therapy also includes regular parent sessions to discuss your child’s progress, and provide parenting support.

    Fees: $200 for 50 minute session

  • Parenting can be hard sometimes. Parent sessions provide a safe, non-judgemental space for parents to share their parenting struggles, enhance their parenting strengths, and learn new skills.

    Fees: $200 for 50 minute session

  • A mutual and secure space for children/adolescents to navigate family challenges, improve positive interactions, and build stronger relationships.

    Fees: $280 for 55 minute session

  • Working collaboratively with parents parents and children aged 2-10 year olds with mild to moderate challenging behaviour. Behaviour support focuses on reducing challenging behaviour and enhancing positive emotional and social development.

    Fees: $200 per 50 minute session

    ‍$115 per hour (or part there of) for phone support (as needed)

  • Providing expert advice and support to other professionals working with children/adolescents. This may include school, or other agencies involved with your child/adolescent.

    Fees: $180 per hour (or part there of)

    Travel costs are incurred for any meeting that takes place at alternative locations to the clinic.

    • If less than 15km from the clinic is $25.00.

    • If more than 15km from the clinic is $1.17 per km and $80 per hour.

  • Report/letter writing (available upon request) - $130 per hour.

    Travel costs are incurred for any consult or specialist service that takes place at alternative locations to the clinic.

    • If less than 15km from the clinic is $25.00.

    • If more than 15km from the clinic is $1.17 per km and $80 per hour.

Important notes:

  • Cancellations greater than 24 hours will incur no fee.

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours will incur full charger. This includes failure to attend.

  • Cancellation by clinician maybe due to unavailability, illness or other operational reasons. The clinician will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible, offer an alternative time (if available) or provide refund of paid cancelled sessions.
